Perhaps you read my post: Some Comments About Comments back in April. In summary, fellow bloggers comments appear in Jetpack or in the WordPress dashboard, but several are not appearing in both.
So, if I’m only using the Jetpack app for a few days, I miss your comments that are inexplicably only visible in WordPress. This week, I discovered comments in Jetpack that are not visible in WordPress.
If you follow this so far, you’ll also be interested to learn that I contacted the Happiness Engineers months ago and they determined the issue was resolved. Within hours of initiating the support, they closed the ticket. That was a first. No reply from me whether the issue was actually resolved, just the assumption that it was.
I’m frustrated by this ongoing, months-long comments issue (which I will again contact WP support about), the bizarre influx of 10-30+ spam comments per post (see screenshot below), and is it just me or did the dashboard/editor change again?
One of the main take-aways from this quick post: please know your comments are valuable and I apologize to those who receive late responses.
Thanks for reading today…if you have any suggestions or similar experiences, please share.
