Last Christmas, my thoughtful children gifted me a Breville espresso machine.
It took a few months before I made time to learn the process, but once I did, the basics of operation were simple. Creating the perfect drink? That’s been a morning adventure, one cup at a time!
The thing I criticized most often while frequenting coffee shops was inconsistency. One day a cappuccino was delicious. A week later, the exact same order was truly awful, making the $7 purchase more upsetting to my stomach than the coffee.
While now I save by brewing my own beans, I’m still working on consistency. In the meantime, when I do have an espresso drink at a coffee shop, I have new appreciation for baristas! Consistency isn’t easy!
