      We were heading to the coast when my friend remembered the gardens, so we stopped in. You’re right about it being a little gem on campus.

    A spontaneous stop on the way to the coast because a friend suddenly remembered the gardens – those are usually the ones that stick. Your reply about peacefully walking while sweating profusely made me laugh, because that is basically every summer garden visit we have ever attempted. Those lily pads look enormous.

    Beautiful… as I have written about before, there’s a place like that on the campus of the university that I attended, and I used to go there often between classes to read and stuff like that. I still go there once or twice a year just to take a walk.
