“No significant difference” in our milk?🤔 Perhaps “no significant difference” in taste but the FDA delivers some questionable statements, approvals and rejections. But that deep dive isn’t for a (Wordless) Wednesday post.

There are ample sources indicating the potential harm of ingesting bioengineered foods. It was fascinating to read how many publications don’t want to criticize the use of genetically modified organisms in our food supply.

“…a portion” of the contents is removed then re-added in the next country? Yikes.

So, the “concentrate” is from China and/or Turkey? Then shipped to Canada for packaging, followed by a truck ride to the U.S.?

“100% apple juice from concentrate” … “with added ingredients”…? 100% is complete at 100%….🙃.

        TNMT means teenage mutant ninja turtles. They were regular turtles until they were exposed to mutagen.

          I was going to type Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but then I thought ‘no way does he mean that’😄! I completely forgot about how their original change took place. Great example.

    Interesting trip through the ingredient list and learned a few things. Kind of disturbing things; I’m with you: 100% is 100% or it isn’t and you ought not be saying it is 100%. 🙂

      The food production is a mess. The clever ways they are writing the label information to avoid clarity and transparency are concerning.

          You got it. And there are several similar phrases. We all need to build pesticide-free gardens, raise drug-free chickens… but not everyone has the climate, space, physical stamina, etc., for such an undertaking 365-days a year.

    I’m not too excited about eating out because I’m not sure what they’ll put in my food. Now, eating in many not be much better. Sigh.
