I See You

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! I was blessed to have my daughter in town this past week to be with us for my youngest’s baby shower. We enjoyed many joy-filled moments and some great laughs together. I have missed your posts and look forward to catching up a bit today.

I took these photos when I was in New York in June, walking at one of my favorite parks.

Have a wonderful day!

Lovely. I’m not into birds, but I’m beginning to change my mind.

Some are unpleasant but overall, I’ve become quite fond of watching them. There are some gorgeous, colorful species all around!

Congratulations on the newest baby to come to your family.

I never thought I’d say this about a starling but your pictures even make it look good.

I’m happy for you that you had a nice time with your daughter and thanks for the photos. I’ve become a big birds fan after my wife bought a cockatiel and love bird a couple of years ago.

Back in 2023 as our aging labradoodle became more and more feeble, my wife bought the cockatiel and love bird to fill the approaching void. The funny thing is, the two birds and I became buddies while the only interaction my wife has with them is cleaning out their cages once a month (it’s not an imposition , she loves to clean).
