10 At The End – May

Reflections, Happenings, Gratitude…

1. Appreciating simple joys like May buttercups.

2. I spent two hours on a Sunday reading. In my current life season, this was an indescribably wonderful, intentional treat to myself. Outside of the Bible, I’m accomplishing very little reading so far this year.

3. Sharing the blessing that our youngest daughter and son-in-law are expecting their first child and our first grand this autumn.

It’s a boy!

4. Grateful for a blessed Mother’s Day starting with church, breakfast, flowers, gifts and most importantly: love. A competitive family card game concluded the day.

5. Went to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 with youngest. Brought back memories from seeing the original when the kids were young – how was the original 20 years ago?

6. I can get to exactly one place in my new state without a GPS: the grocery store. Ironically, I’ve only gone inside twice. I never pre-ordered groceries before moving, but now pick them up weekly.

7. How special to see the Blue Moon, unobstructed, on Saturday night.

8. Son-in-law took us to see comedian Steve Trevino. Outside of Nate Bargatze and Leanne Morgan, I honestly don’t laugh at comedians. Trevino was entertaining!

9. Grateful for God’s mercy. His patience. Countless chances to get it right.

10. I landed back in New York late Friday night and was thankful to walk one of my old, familiar paths first thing Saturday morning.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. Have a blessed week ahead.
