It took me a lot of plane trips to figure out the purpose of that first one.
You weren’t alone!
Good money made by companies who cater to those who can’t peel themselves away from the screen. Worse yet those who will now talk of the phone hands free while shopping.
So true, Melinda. It’s taken over.
A lot of people keep their grocery lists on their phones, so it makes sense to have a place to put the phone where it can be seen easily.

Yes, many use their store apps for what aisle to locate items as well.
Also to call someone at home to ask if they’re out of cornflakes. 🙂
