My son didn’t want to leave his golden retriever at home for Christmas, so he drove from NY to TX with an 80lb. golden in the backseat! Judge and Maverick had a great time playing and causing a huge mess everywhere for a week! Fortunately for me, my daughter down the street was willing to host everyone at her new house – including two dogs – since we were surrounded by boxes in our new home. I’m not going to lie – I’m glad that chaos wasn’t at our place!

I’ll confess it; I’m not a dog person at all. I don’t mind them, but my affections lie with the cats. That said, these are some handsome creatures, and they clearly enjoy one another’s company! It probably is good that they had somewhere else to stay, rather than hanging around and helping you get settled!
Until my youngest daughter and my son brought these two into the family, we were never dog nor cat people. But these pups are both so full of love and life, you can’t help but love them. Still, I was thankful my daughter and son-in-law (Maverick’s parents) were willing to host!
