    I love the sky in the second and third photos. We see skies like that occasionally in winter, and when we do, they signal the presence of a system that just maybe, possibly, perhaps, could bring a snowflake or two. You obviously got some flakes with yours!

      I’m still in NY this week, so plenty of flakes falling and piling up even higher. During the ice storm in TX a couple weeks ago, we didn’t see snow per se but the sky sure changed for three days straight while building a thick layer of ice.
