That is beautiful, and looks nothing like the Texas in my mind!
We are 30min outside the true city-part of Austin… our location likely more the country view you have in mind!
The two cities in TX, I might consider are Austin and San Antonio.
I haven’t been to San Antonio yet but have met several people who really love it.

Longest running comedy show! I have not seen it, but will add it to my list.
Austin the capitol of Texas, where there is something for everyone!
I toured the Capitol building a few years back when my daughter first resided an hour outside Austin. There is much to explore but I’m glad we don’t live too close. I need some open space away from the city hustle!
I was a Huntsville Tx. girl years ago, I do miss Texas.
Since you’re no longer in TX, I hope you get to visit every now and then!
