To Those With Snow This Morning…

Published by

😂I can relate to being snow-trapped in the house (received a whopping 7’ of snow a few years back) and still wanting a latte!☕️

While it’s going up to an “usually-high” (so the locals say) 80° today, my beloveds back in New York will have a high of 10°!

Have a wonderful weekend!💙❄️☃️🌨️

Featured image: mine. Girl in snow: I saved this in my phone last year and didn’t save the source :/ but it’s readily online if you search it.

Love the featured photo. Coffee is a necessity in that extreme cold. Enjoy, Mama.

Thanks for the chuckle this morning! Yes, gotta have that cup of Joe in the morning no matter what the circumstances!
We’re looking forward to a balmy 25F here in Western NY today.

That snow/coffee meme is one of my favorites. I use it quite often.

It’s so relatable and funny! Seeing all the snow on the east coast-seemed a good day to post!❄️

I’m in central West Virginia, and right now we just have a light dusting. We can get some occasional hefty snows though!

Sounds like a perfect balance where you are. You can enjoy real winter weather without walking through a couple feet of snow for three months!❄️

A friend visiting her daughter and SIL in Maine for a couple of weeks sent photos yesterday. Oh, my. Your New York beloveds might get a kick out of my favorite video of snow play.

😂That video was so much fun!! Loved it! My son keeps sending photos of his Golden Retriever playing in the snow, but Bailey is much faster! If only we humans could dash through the snow piles with such ease…!❄️❄️

We have snow and cold weather but that’s winter in PA. My sister’s family in Oklahoma ate Christmas dinner outside since it was around 80°. Call me strange but I like the snow and cold.

I agree with you. The hot weather was the least attractive part of moving for this girl. Christmas felt so different because NE weather actually is a part of us after all these years. I might blog about it! My youngest down the street still hasn’t adjusted after 4&1/2 yrs and grieves fall and winter. Right now, it’s amazing to walk every day, but it will be interesting to see how we fare when it really heats up…

I remember a time when I was still nursing, when an overnight blizzard had me snowed in so badly that I couldn’t open either door to our house. I had to call a neighbour to shovel me out so I could get to work. I sure don’t miss that weather!

I can relate! We had a similar blizzard in upstate NY a few years back and that extreme isn’t fun…Unless you can stay home and enjoy the white beauty through the windows! Our future daughter-in-law got stuck at the hospital nursing for four days three Christmases ago because no one else could get to work. Christmas week we honestly missed the cold weather, but going for a walk today was lovely.

The snow and cold thing – been there done that! Enjoy the warm temperatures because Texas can have its share of cold!

You defintely appreciate the Texas contrast compared to MN winters!
My first week here I needed a parka and ear muffs…only shorts and tee shirts the subsequent three weeks. I learned quick about the occasional cold.

Talk about dedication. At least you don’t have to shovel 80 degrees.

I’m so sorry Pat – I just located four of your comments in spam!!😞😠. Always-fun WordPress glitches.
After I got over being annoyed with WP, your comment made me laugh that I don’t have to shovel 80°😄.

Happy to help cheer you up. Sometimes, WP glitches make no sense, apply for awhile then disappear as quickly as they appeared.

That’s a bizarre truth-sometimes what I think is a peculiar WP update suddenly disappears a week later.

Oh, my goodness! I have shoveled a lot of snow but never as high as my waist. That is incredible.

We have had several feet of snow in the past. It’s a true joy watching from the windows, but driving and getting in and out of places can be a bummer!❄️❄️❄️
