Welcome Christmas Week

Happy Monday!🎄 I’m happy that most have a short or zero-days work week as we gather to celebrate the birth of Christ or complete Hanukkah tonight.

Becoming settled in a new home and unfamiliar territory is a long distance run, not a sprint. Everything is taking longer than expected and I’ll write about the experience in the new year.

For this week, I have my beloveds in town and I am immensely grateful. Though Christmas is different this year (starting with the blazing 78° of straight sun [it’s 23° and snowing back in NY]), we’re figuring out this new location, exploring and enjoying the days we have together.

Wishing you precious time with kind friends and loving family-this Christmas week and always🤍🕊️.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    It sounds like you are busy but thank you for taking the time to send us your kind wishes. I wish the same for you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

    By the way, the picture of Santa kneeling before Jesus was made into a figurine which we got my Mom one year. It was always her favorite thing to put out at Christmas time.

      I love that you gifted the kneeling Santa to your Mom and that it was her favorite. Such a special memory🥹.

    It’s good to hear that you’re settling in. Yes, things tend to take a bit longer here in Texas. Once you get accustomed to that, it becomes easier to make project timelines. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas week!

      For sure things take longer and you can relate, coming from up north! I wonder how long my ‘timeline of adjustment’ will take?😅🤔
      Thank you and a wonderful Christmas week to you as well!
