I hope yours was a blessed Thanksgiving – however you spent the day🤎🧡. Ours was lovely, taking a break for the annual family meal amid all the work of moving out-of-state. More below and on Thursday.
November Gratitude…
1. A string of goodbye breakfasts, lunches and dinners before leaving New York for Texas.
2. A good recovery from October foot surgery. Praise God.
3. No one mentioned prior to surgery that flying should wisely be avoided for six weeks after. So, I cancelled our flights and we drove to the great state. Arrived safely for which I am grateful (more about the road trip on Thursday).
4. Fun stop/overnight in Nashville.
5. New house closing went smoothly.
6. Worldly goods and earthly treasures arrived in TX in tact and on the scheduled day.
7. Seeing foliage colors in TX. The colorful seasonal change was a pleasant surprise!🍁
8. New things – Purchasing new furniture and home items has been fun.
9. Old things – Unpacking family items that have been in storage have brought me comfort.
10. Thanksgiving Day.
As many of us begin (or finish) the shopping, wrapping, planning, baking, etc., I wish you a happy start to this exciting month of December.
