October gratitude…

1. First homemade chicken soup of the season

2. Double rainbow

3. Birthday flowers, gifts, dinners and heartfelt words hand written in my cards…🥰

4. My dear friend gifted me a gorgeous set of eight paintings (she is an artist) representing annual holidays/seasons – I will change them out depending upon the season/holidays

5. Thankful for health, protection and provision… God’s goodness is always surrounding us

6. A stunning and unseasonably warm October

7. Sincere prayer partners

8. Listening to my adult children and family singing Happy Birthday… honestly, I’m getting weepier each year… I was humbled by their love

9. Enjoying the trick-or-treaters at my son’s new house

10. As always, I am thankful for you dear reader. This interesting, diverse community keeps me writing in a time when the written word is increasingly undervalued and unappreciated.

    Beautiful color on the maple trees. I have a young sugar maple in my back yard, and my little grandson can’t wait for me to rake leaf piles for him to jump in.

    So we share a birthday month — belated greetings! Personally, I’m thankful for that last photo. I can smell the leaves from here! I loved raking leaves from the time I began doing it with my dad. He was faithful about building up huge leaf piles for me to jump into!
