10 at the End – September

September gratitude…

1. Youngest came into town for a few days after being in Europe. Month made having the whole family together♥️.

2. Celebrated a friend’s birthday🎂.

3. The gorgeous colors emerging all around us🍁.

4. Sunday Siesta😴 – not a regular thing but after a quick nap last week, it might become a weekly practice!

5. Continuing #4…Two of my three just returned from touring Italy and Switzerland. I was reminded that in some parts of the world, rest is a regular thing-not just for Sundays.

6. A great cup of tea after a long day🫖.

7. Attended the wedding of my son’s childhood friend🤵🏻. How can we be this old that the “kids” are getting married?!🤔

8. Warmer weather throughout September than we had in August. Bizarre, but I enjoyed it☀️.

9. Flowers from my husband yesterday. No occasion🧡.

10. New York Yankees made the playoffs! Fingers crossed – game one tonight against the Red Sox…⚾️

Thank you for reading!🍂Wishing you cooler temps, soft sweaters, the smell of cinnamon, delicious apple crisp…whatever you enjoy in October🎃

We are still experiencing high 70s/low 80s which is so strange. I’m guessing your area of VA remains warm as well. Cooler temps will eventually arrive…🍁🌧️

Thanks for sharing the enjoyable list of September high points! Best wishes to the Yankees. I’m an oddball by living in Western New York but being a fan of the San Diego Padres for 57 years (long story). The Pads also made it to the playoffs and I’m getting ready to watch Game #1 against the Cubbies.

I’m sure you’ll enjoy watching your Padres since playoff ball is usually more exciting than regular season. Win or lose, it’s a fun time of year⚾️ (better if our teams win😉).
