Wordless Wednesday…
Thanks! We’ve been to Seneca many times. The drive along the west shore is fun. We need to stay at the Glenora Inn as an anniversary gift to my wife. I need to make reservations now for next year.
The finger lake we’ve been to the most (by far) is Canandaigua. Only 20 miles away. There used to be an amusement park at the north end that our family would frequent at least once each summer and years later a good friend had a cottage on the east side.
Thanks! My wife loves any type of waterfront (more on that below) and I know she would be thrilled by a stay at the Glenora.
RE: Canandaigua
They’ve done a great job saving-revitalizing the Main Street commercial strip with touristy shops.
RE: Canandaigua, my wife, and waterfront
I can look back and laugh now, but back 30 and 40 years ago when my friend used to invite us to spend a weekend every summer, my wife always became incensed on the drive home by the fact that others had lake cottages and boats, but we didn’t (as we struggled paycheck to paycheck just to pay for our house). Sadly, my old friend divorced twice, ultimately sold the cottage, and moved to Las Vegas.
Sometimes unplanned visits turn out to be the best kind! On another note-I’ve tried to visit your site several times. I’m not sure if you’re still blogging but if so, I would love to follow you!🩷

I stopped blogging several years ago. I really enjoyed it. My primary blog, Covenant Heirs, was dedicated to my family, and parents and grandparents on intentionally passing their faith in Christ down to their children and grands. Maybe someday I’ll start a new blog. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and interesting posts.
God Bless,
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock” (Isaiah 26:3-4 – NLT). Charmé
I remember your blog and enjoyed reading. Thank you for your kind message, Charme.🩷🙏🏻
