I’ve been noticing bloggers number their kids in posts to make the stories easier to follow. Seems silly to repeat ‘oldest/youngest’ when referring to my daughters, so, I’ll use letters: Y for youngest (26), TD for twin daughter (28) and well, my only son (twin 28) can remain “son”. Still feels weird, but there is no easy way to keep them anonymous…
April included a bit of snow and excessive winds but thankfully, the month is ending with a hint of Spring in the air! As always, my gratitude list extends far beyond these short ten, but here are the April highlights…
- Y was home from Texas until the second week of April. She worked remote, but we squeezed in plenty during the off-hours. Part of the fun was eating at her favorite restaurants, along with indulging in way too many desserts.

2. Family group texts…they often have me laughing.
3. Loved having my son, his fiancée and TD together for church and brunch on Easter Sunday.

4. I’m thankful two of my three were blessed to build/buy homes this month. Seems like yesterday I was praying them through high school and college. Now, houses and travel…time whips by, doesn’t it?
5. Relaxing Sunday afternoons through lent, watching The Chosen with TD.
6. Longer walks, observing the barren trees finally burst with new life.

7. While Y was in town, TD invited us to attended a girl’s movie night at the Italian club where she is taking Italian classes. Once we established the movie would be in English, we agreed to go! It was Romeo and Juliet which I haven’t seen or read in decades. So much fun to be together.
8. Walking the park with my son, his fiancée and their Golden Retriever. Updates on both dogs coming soon.
9. Early morning sunrises, longer days, pretty Spring sunsets.
10. God’s precious gift of health.
Thank you for stopping by today. I wish you a wonderful month of May ahead!☀️💛☀️
