We are one quarter of the way through 2025…?!
While each day brings countless blessings, “10 at the end” is a monthly highlight reel I started in January. This is a list of 10 things I’m thankful to have enjoyed or accomplished in March.
- Sharing life with friends over coffee and tea. The simplicity of a coffee shop can cultivate some deep conversations.

2. Fresh Spring haircut and highlights. The cut was the highlight😉 of the salon visit, having 4″ sliced off my long hair. I’ll likely grow it back for my son’s wedding next year, but in the meantime, I’m loving the ease!
3. Our youngest arrived on the 25th from Texas. She’s staying for two weeks and we’ve already enjoyed a few of her favorite restaurants and home-made desserts. We made lemon custard and pavlova’s topped with whipped cream. Ours turned out delicious but I forgot to take a pic, so I found this one online for a visual!

4. With the youngest in town, our little clan has been together even more than usual… it’s a Mama’s joy to share several meals with the adult kids.
5. We celebrated our future daughter-in-law’s 28th birthday with cake and presents on the day. After Texas daughter arrived home, we celebrated again – a girls only dinner, followed by a movie and pedicures the following day.

6. I watched two movies that inspired me: Bonhoeffer – The true story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a pastor who remained faithful to God’s Word during WWII. Unstoppable – The true story of champion wrestler, Anthony Robles, born with one leg. He overcame a multitude of obstacles in addition to his physical struggles.

7. My sweet friend had me over for a home-made soup lunch. The time together was a gift and the soup so delicious, I asked for the recipe and have made it twice since!
8. All snow has finally melted…
9. Grateful to do the everyday, routine things like drive, walk at the park, wash dishes, cook a meal. Most of January, these basic tasks were impossible and I’m thankful to God.

10. Just finished a novel and looking forward to a memoir next. Thankful to still be ahead in my yearly Bible reading, which is a first-ever (normally, I’m always behind and don’t finish by December). I’m motivated to continue this new morning schedule I didn’t plan to start in January. God shapes new things during difficult times.
I am thankful for you!
