We went to Newport Beach once. John and I went to the beach so that I could touch it, having never touched the Pacific Ocean before. Your Bible quote is very appropriate.

My daughter did the same as you, wanting to touch the Pacific Ocean. In all her extensive travels, that was her first time in California. Thank you, Anne.

Love the California coastline which it’s varied features. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive to live there.

We have been blessed to travel to many places but I still haven’t been to California. Everyone who goes boasts about the beauty and as you said – the varied coastline. The cost of living (I understand from others) is unfortunately exorbitant.

As long as you’re still getting out there, even with a scooter, that is wonderful for the soul💗.

California coast is nice (we’ve visited when we lived in Oregon), but the Oregon coastline is spectacular.

I have heard people over the years traveling to Oregon for vacation, often wondering what the attraction was. Then I heard about their coastline! You were fortunate to see these parts of the west even though you were originally an East Coast gal.

So many people are leaving California for Texas. Mostly for cost! It must be extra hard when your family is in Cali💛. Thank you for visiting and for your comment.

    Beautiful photos!

California was one of the places we lived when I was younger. I don’t remember much about it, though!

    Blessings~
