Gorgeous! I am envious that you can see your road. It is still icy here.

Yes when the rubber can meet the road, it just feels safer to be out driving. Stay safe on your icy street. I’m happy you enjoyed the pic!❄️

Pretty! I’m assuming you all are in the deep freezer also. You probably have even lower temps than us. We were down to -8° yesterday morning, but a little warmer at -2° this morning.

Yes same here…negative numbers, all schools closed for the second day in a row. I enjoy the snow and ice best from the windows!❄️🤍

Thanks for the photo! It was zero degrees when I woke up this morning here in Rochester, NY. Brrrrr. 🥶

An all too familiar scene – at least in Indiana!

Yes here in NY as well. Just when the banks lower a bit, a fresh 6” falls…❄️❄️❄️

My father was in Buffalo for work (staying in a hotel) in 1971 and was snowed in for a week. The hotel was running low on food and he called to tell us that people were walking down the street on top of the parked cars…

What an experience your Dad had. I’ve seen photos of people walking on snow-piles cars. We had 7’ in 2014 – it’s mind boggling how high the snow piles when Lake Erie remains warm.

We get lake effect all the time! Lake Michigan is no slouch in churning out the lake effect snow!
