    Thank you for sharing the beautiful colors. Our trees will mostly turn yellow then brown and not until December. I especially love the red.

      I agree about the red-it’s so vibrant, especially against gray or blue skies. We could be knee-deep in snow by the time your first leaf falls!😅

    I have mixed feelings about this time of year. On the bright side, it’s nice that we don’t really have fall here and the first half of fall is just a slightly milder version of summer, still relatively warm but not blisteringly hot. But fall also reminds me that winter is coming… dark days, gray skies, sunsets before 5pm, cold wind that makes my skin crack and bleed, and trying to carry a bunch of stuff from my work to my car while rain is potentially damaging expensive things and getting them wet and getting the bottom of my pants all muddy.

        No… people around here think cold and gray and rainy is great weather, and they complain about the sun and heat all summer. I need to find new friends…

    We talk of moving to where it is warm, but it would be hard to give up the beauty of the seasons.

      I agree that the autumn season would be missed. We have decided that if we relocate, we travel back up here for a fall long weekend or short trip. And we would miss that first snowfall…(but after December, can it just stop?😀)

    I don’t miss the ticks and chiggers from the Ozarks, but autumn in the Ozarks is like nothing else. Definitely the best time to visit Branson, MO.
