    I especially like the first photo. The combination of chartreuse and maroon reminds me of two things. The first is the landscaping at my apartment complex, where deep reddish begonias and some sort of chartreuse vining plant have been combined in an attractive way. The other, believe it or not, is the bathroom in the house I grew up in during the 1950s. Dark colors were in fashion then (long before harvest gold and avocado), and my mother decided that chartreuse and maroon was just the ticket for the bath. I still laugh when I think about it — but I remember it!

    Thanks for the photos, MLM! Yup, “it’s” beginning. Both beautiful and challenging. In just five more weeks, I’ll begin gathering the fallen leaves in our backyard that will ultimately total 70 tarpfulls that will need to dragged to the front curb.

    Oh nooo !!! 😱📣🍂 The fall season is starting already… it feels too soon !! 🍁🍃 I do love the colors, that crisp air, pumpkin spice lattes ☕🎃, apple cider 🍎🥤, apple cider donuts 😋🍩, apple picking 🍏, fall fests 🎉, pumpkin patches 🎃✨, and of course football season 🏈🙌, gotta’ love Football season. But I am sooo not,not,not ready for what’s around the corner… ❄️☃️ WINTER !!! Yikes !!! 🥶

    I especially enjoy living in a place where we enjoy all four seasons. I grew up in CA’s Central Valley. Very little evidence there of seasonal changes. But here in Montana? Beautiful four seasons!!
