Today’s images courtesy of my son who recently traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for a business meeting. He was fortunate to have a work dinner overlooking the racetrack during this off-season.

      I don’t know much about horse racing. I read that the upcoming race in May will be the 151st Kentucky Derby.

      I haven’t either. I think I would like the quiet dinner my son enjoyed overlooking the track vs the busy, crowded derby day.

    Since one of our daughters & her hubby live in Louisville, we’ve been to Churchill Downs twice – once just to visit and another time to attend a horse race. It was fun and a neat place.

        It is! We had fun at the races even though we didn’t bet. Our daughter & son-in-law went to the Kentucky Derby once just for the experience but said they’d never go back again. Too crowded and too many drunks.

          I can only imagine how congested and unruly derby day would be like. Many people really enjoy crowds…I’m like your daughter and son-in-law… not so much😄. Better to visit as my son did-a peaceful, quiet experience.
