Just enough snow to set the mood, but not too much to kill it!

Did you take this picture? May I use it with my students as a writing prompt for my creative writing class?

Love the photo! Looks like you have about the same amount of snow we do…not much.

Oh I’m sooooooo glad I’m not walking in that anymore! Really, I lived in that sort of climate for most of my life and when I moved to AZ. I just fell in love with this State and thank God I am back to stay for the rest of my life; sorry, I don’t miss it……postcards or pictures will do without the COLD; brrrrrrr! But thanks for sharing on “Wordless Wednesday!”

Wonderful photo; poetry without words! I’m sure it has the ability to speak so many varied things to many different people! To me, it speaks to me of a coming-home, a welcoming of someone who has been away.. “I will go home to my father and say, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.’ So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” The Parable of the Prodigal Son, Luke 15.
