Evolution of my Rhododendron

Published by

I know talking about the weather gets boring, and I also know that there are far worse issues in the world, but in my area of New York, Spring is still limping along. It’s a whopping 57 degrees today…?! Reaching for a pair of white pants still feels wrong even though it’s June. Our flowers JUST bloomed. Thought you might enjoy the evolution of this rhododendron….

I enjoyed that progression. It made Spring last a little longer.

    Gorgeous, but it’s June!
The weather is fully wacky here too. It is supposed to be hot, but the sweet peas are still blooming, because it’s not.

It’s definitely been much cooler than it should be in a few places. You will just continue to enjoy those sweet peas a while longer!

I’m amazed every year that our bushes survive the deep freeze and somehow rebound to bloom.β˜ƒοΈβ„οΈβ˜€οΈπŸŒΈ

Our rhodies are all dying. Some sort of disease is sweeping our area. 😦

Remarkably, it has bloomed despite the continued poor weather. Middle of June and it’s 55 degrees :/. Thanks for viewing!
